Prior to the seminar, on heavy matte board a colorful image is drafted in pencil with the intent of creating a color-by-numbers experience for the participants. Numbers representing colors are sketched in, the matte board is cut into pieces with each person receiving a puzzle piece to heap color upon. Pencils, crayons, and magic markers are used by the participants to complete their personal puzzle piece. Pieces are then collected and reassembled to reveal a beautiful image that demonstrates teamwork. One individual puzzle piece is not nearly as impacting as puzzle pieces collectively. This exercise is marvelous for team building and demonstrating collaboration.
