My Friend... Global Poverty

This group conversation is constructed to introduce Global Poverty as a ‘friend’ in need of understanding. Utilizing global photography and data that reveal the hardships endured by three quarters of our world, participants will discuss the difference between “poor” and “poverty”; examine their personal perspective of economic strife; and explore creative strategies to begin to address these issues in their own backyards.
